Yup, thats right a 40 hour event!
I know its late to start on the Friday but the venue has commitments on a Friday which we are unable to affect. That said it will give people enough time to get to us after work etc. There is nothing stopping people turning up before hand, you'll just have to leave your kit in the car till 23:00, perhaps you could visit the bar for a pre-LAN drink.
The event cost will be £35 prepayment, thats less than £1 an hour, good value I hope you all think. Online payment will be available soon, promise On the door cost will be £40, so it makes sense to prepay:)
We'll be doing breakfast on Saturday Morning and Sunday morning, we won't be providing evening food, however the pizza option seemed to go ok last event. We will enforce all orders to go over the Intranet however and to be placed by your own user ID. Any orders you place you have to pay for before we ring through, otherwise you don't get Pizza. A tad harsh but I had to dip into my pocket last time to pay for pizzas no one claimed (We threw away 5 entire pizzas, ie untouched )
We still DON'T rent PC's out. As the event is longer it will allow us greater scope for organising the game competitions in conjunction with the new Intranet.
We are in discussions regards an internet connection for this event also, which will help alleviate some issues with STEAM , however it will be only be used for emergency patch download and STEAM fixes. Again can people be sure that their PC is fully operational sometime before the event, make sure you have functioning network cards etc. (end rant ) Further information will be found at http://www.zombielan.co.uk
